FAQ

1 . What is mental health and why is it important?

Mental health refers to our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, act, and handle stress. Prioritizing mental health is essential for overall well-being and functioning.

2. How do I know if I need therapy?

Life can be overwhelming sometimes. Whether you're feeling anxious, stuck, burned out, or simply need someone to talk to—therapy offers a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts and emotions. You might consider therapy if:
• You're feeling stressed, anxious, or low more often than not
• You're going through a big life change—like a breakup, loss, or career shift
• You're struggling with self-esteem, boundaries, or relationships
• You want to understand patterns that keep repeating in your life
• You're curious about yourself and want to grow emotionally
• You just want a space that’s yours—where you can be honest and feel heard

You don’t have to be in crisis to seek therapy. Think of it like a mental and emotional health check-in—something that helps you build resilience, insight, and healthier coping tools. It’s okay to ask for help. In fact, it’s a strength.

3. Is therapy only for people with mental illness?

Not at all. Therapy can help anyone—whether you're navigating stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, or just want to better understand yourself.

4. What happens in a therapy session?

In therapy, you'll talk through your concerns with a trained mental health professional who listens non-judgmentally and helps you explore thoughts, feelings, and behavior patterns. Together, you work on goals for emotional well-being.

5. How long does therapy last?

Session length is typically 50 minutes. The number of sessions varies—some may benefit from short-term support, while others might prefer longer, deeper work. We tailor it to your needs.

6. Is everything I share in therapy confidential?

Yes, confidentiality is a core part of therapy. The only exceptions are situations involving risk of harm to self or others, or legal obligations.

7. What if I don’t connect with my therapist?

That’s okay—it’s important to feel comfortable with your therapist. If the fit doesn’t feel right, we can help you find someone who aligns better with your needs.

8. How do I book a session?

You can book through our website , contact us directly via phone/email, or use our online booking system. We’re happy to guide you through the process.
